"Valley  Spirit"

Kurt's work with Niobium and Titanium began in 1984 at the California College of Art and Design in Oakland. During the 1980s' his focus was on producing fashion jewelry combining silver with niobium and titanium.  In the early 1990s' the work began to change from a jewelry format to producing large one - of - a - kind sculptures in vacuum - formed plastics and anodized refractory metals.
