Originally from Riedlingsdorf Austria I now call Calgary Alberta home! The city's proximity to the mountains and the wide open
spaces of the prairie make this a desirable place to live. My work with Niobium and Titanium began in 1984 at the California College of Art and Design in Oakland. During the 1980s' my focus was on producing fashion jewelry combining silver with niobium and titanium. In the early 1990s' the work began to change from a jewelry format to sculpture. From 2000 on I have been producing large one - of - a - kind sculptures in vacuum - formed plastics and anodized refractory metals. |

Second method: Photo-etching - high contrast photo images are printed on metal and acid-etched. All works are one-of-a-kind - original design |
